About the event

On Makar Sankranti, feeding cows with green fodder, jaggery and til is a centuries-old tradition. We spend the day at a partner gaushala — feeding, cleaning and helping with care.

Families learn about indigenous breeds, panchagavya and how gaushalas look after old and abandoned cows.
